Solve 4-v/9-v=5/v-9. Can someone help??
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve
=
make the two fraction have the same denominator, factor out -1, that changes the signs
=
which is
=
If we multiply both sides by (v-9) we just have:
-(4-v) = 5
Removing the brackets changes the signs
-4 + v = 5
Add 4 to both sides
v = 5 + 4
v = 9, however, all is for naught, because that would make division by 0, no solution
