Question 398092: Choose the end behavior for each of the polynomial function.
f(x)= -5x^5-9x^2+6x+1. I got rises to the left and falls to the right. Is this correct?
f(x) 3x^3+3x^2-6x-5. I got Falls to the left and rises to the right. Is this correct?
f(x) -x(x-3)(5x+2), I think I have to foil to get -5x^3-2x^2+15x+6 So I think this one rises to the left and falls to the right. Please let me know if I did these correctly.

Choose the end behavior for each of the polynomial function.
f(x)= -5x^5-9x^2+6x+1. I got rises to the left and falls to the right. Is this correct?
Yes: f(x)goes to +inf as x goes to -inf
f(x) goes to -inf as x goes to +inf
--------------------------------------
f(x) 3x^3+3x^2-6x-5. I got Falls to the left and rises to the right. Is this correct?
Yes: f(x) goes to -inf as x goes to -inf
f(x) goes to +inf as x goes to +inf
--------------------------------------
f(x) -x(x-3)(5x+2), I think I have to foil to get -5x^3-2x^2+15x+6 So I think this one rises to the left and falls to the right. Please let me know if I did these correctly.

You only need to determine the highest power term.
That term is -5x^3.
f(x) goes to +inf as x goes to -inf
f(x) goes to -inf as x goes to +inf
