Question 392384: How to factor down b^3-4b^2-9b+36 completely?
Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Try the factors of 36.
f(b) = b^3-4b^2-9b+36
Evaluate f(1), f(2), f(3), f(4) and f(6), both plus and minus, to find a zero.
Once you find the first, divide by that factor, then you have a quadratic.
