Okay...first of all, the fact that you care makes you Not A Failure...now on to the problem...let us factor everything first...
6x+18/x^2-9 divided by x+3/x-3 multiplied by x+3/6 becomes
6(x+3) / (x+3)(x-3) divided by x+3/x-3 multiplied by x+3/6
now invert the second one and multiply and get
[6(x+3) / (x+3)(x-3)] * (x-3)/(x+3) * (x+3)/6
Now look what cancels...the 6's, two pairs of (x+3), and the pair of (x-3),
leaving the remarkable answer.....
