how do I divide x^2+6x-25/x+8

by using synthetic division
..........x - 2
x + 8 --> x^2 + 6x - 25
..........x^2 + 8x
..............- 2x - 25
..............- 2x - 16
...................- 9

x - 2 - 9/(x + 8) is answer
check:
(x + 8) * (x - 2 - 9/(x + 8))
x(x + 8) - 2(x + 8) - 9/(x + 8) * (x + 8)
x^2 + 8x - 2x - 16 - 9
x^2 + 6x - 25, yes
