well, since it is not an equation, you can get any real number.

put r=2 --> you get 2-4/7-2 which is -2/5.
put r=-10 --> you get -10-5/7-(-10) which is -15/17.

The only problem number you will have is when r=7 because here, the denominator becomes zero and then the fraction gives infinity as the answer.
