I am supposed to subtract.
(0.05x^3-0.08x^2+0.06x)-(0.01x^3-0.08x^2+7)
I know you switch the signs on the second equation and then find like terms but then i am stuck can you help. I got the answer of
0.04x^3-0.06x-7 Is this correct or wrong?

(0.05x^3-0.08x^2+0.06x)-(0.01x^3-0.08x^2+7)

0.05x^3-0.08x^2+0.06x-0.01x^3+0.08x^2-7)

0.04x^3-0.08x^2+0.08x^2+0.06x -7

0.04x^3+0.06x -7



+0.06x and -7 has remained constant throughtout the simplification
