I have tried simplifying and cross multiplying but i cannot get the correct answer. Thank you for your help.

Start with the given expression.
Combine the fractions.
Multiply
Rewrite as
Highlight the common terms.
Cancel out the common terms.
Simplify.
So where none of the variables are zero.
