Just pick any number other than zero. This will be the "a". Then replace the "a" in the fraction with that number and simplify the fraction. If you simplify correctly (add 7 and then divide by 7), you will find that the fraction does not work out to be the same as the "a" that you started with.
P.S. In the future please post fractions with- a "/" between the numerator and denominator
- parentheses around numerators and/or denominators with more than one term.
So your fraction should have been posted as
(a+7)/a
or
(a+7/(a)
Trying to use a horizontal fraction bar like you did can make the fractions completely unintelligible.
