Question 3702: plz help me in solving this questions.
Eliminate 't' from the following equations.
Q 1) y=2t/b(1-t.t) ; x/a=(1+t.t)/1-t.t

Answer by longjonsilver(2297)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
i cannot eliminate t from these, but i can get t=, so then you can put this back into your equations...

by adding in enough to be able to factorise. Make sure you accept that this line is the same as the previous one.

Now for the other one:

-- again make sure that you accept that this line is the same as the previous one. Now we can factorise the top and bottom:

Sub this into the first one, to give , so

As for now? who knows :-)...put this into the 2 originals and you have no t.
