Question 369012: On my test, the question was to Rationalize the Denominator of
sqrt 2x/sqrt 63. The whole fraction was under the sqrt sign.
My answer was sqrt 126x/63. Only a sqrt sign over the top of the fraction 126x.
The correct answer was sqrt 14x/21. Only a sqrt sign over the top of the fraction 14x.
I can not figure out how to get the correct answer on this problem. Can you show me the steps that should be done to get the correct answer?
I appreciate any assistance.
