Find the x-intercepts of the polynomial f(x)=x^3+2x^2-8x
A)4, -2
B)0, 2, and -4
C)-2, 0, and 4
D)-4 and 2 Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi,
f(x)=x^3+2x^2-8x
f(x)= x(x^2 +2x -8)
f(x)= x(x -2)(x +4)
x intercepts are the value of x where f(x) = 0
x(x -2)(x +4)= 0
x = 0
x = 2
x =-4
Answer B would be the correct choice
