Hello,
This 3v^2-48/v^2-6v+8 can be rewritten as:
3(v^2-16)/(v-2)(v-4)
Now the numerator can be rewritten as:
3(v-4)(v+4)/(v-2)(v-4)
Then we can cancel out to give us:
3(v+4)/(v-2)
Make sense?
