SOLUTION: (x^-1+y^-1)/(x^-1y) I tried this, but just not sure. I cancelled out the x^-1, and that left me with y^-1/y wich I believe is (1/y)/(y) can you tell me if this is right?

The x^-1 in the numerator is a TERM, since it is added to they y^-1. NEVER DIVIDE OUT TERMS!! ONLY FACTORS!! See the solution that I previously posted for the correct solution to this.
