Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
with any fraction, if the denominator is zero, you are in trouble!
So, if the denominator was zero, what would the value of b be in that case?
2b+1 = 0
2b = -1
b = -1/2
--> C
just try it on your calculator: 9/0 and see what you get.
