Question 32828: Find the Lowest common demonator or the LCD?????
r-1 2
_____ , _______
r^2+6r+5 r^2+r

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Factor where you can to get:
[(r-1)/(r+1)(r+5)] , [2/r(r+1)]
The LCD must contain each different factor in the
denominators raised to their highest power.
So the LCD must contain r, r-1, and r+1
The LCD = r(r-1)(r+1)
