Question 32795: (X-1)(X^2+2x-6)
Answer by ikdeep(226)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(X-1)(X^2+2x-6)
Here you must know how we make factors i.e. splitting of the middle term...(if you might not knew then contact me again and I will explain to you)...we get
= (X-1) [ X^2 + (3-2)x - 6]
= (X-1) [ X^2 + 3x -2x- 6]
Taking common from first two i.e. X^2 + 3x and last two i.e. -2x- 6 variables...we get
= (X-1) [ x(x+3) -2(x+3)]

=(X-1) [ (x+3) (x-2)]
now values of x are 1, -3, 2 ........
Hope this will help you
