I need help with the FOIL METHOD to find product
:
(2x^7 - 2)(x^9 - 9)
:
First: 2x^7 * x^9 = 2x^16; add the exponents
Outer: 2x^7 * -9 = -18x^7
Inner: -2 * x^9 = -2x^9
Last: -2 * -9 = +18
:
2x^16 - 18x^7 - 2x^9 + 18
or
2x^16 - 2x^9 - 18x^7 + 18; degree in descending order
