a) 2x^2 + 4/(2x)
= (4x^3/(2x)) + 4/(2x)

= (4x^2 + 4)/2x

= (2x^2 + 2)/x

b) (2x^2+4)/(2x)

= (2(x^2+2))/(2x)
---
= (x^2+2)/x
=====================
c) 2x^2 + (4/2)x
= 2x^2 + 2x
