Multiply thru by 15 to get:
5(q+5) + 3(q-5) = 5*10
5q+25 + 3q-15 = 50
8q + 10 = 50
5q = 40
q = 8

5q+25+3q-15 / 15 = 10/3
8q+10 /15=10/3
3(8q+10)=15*10

10/3 +0
= 10/3
