The equation would be
from here is is just solving for x
multiply both sides by (x+1)
distribute the 3/2
combine like terms (constants first)
combine like terms (now variables)
multiply both sides by -2

Cross multiply
distribute
subtract 3n from both sides
subtract 6 from both sides

-3 does not make the denominator zero .... so this is the solution
