Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4y^3+8y^2-9y-18
_________________
2y^2+7y+6
= 4y^2(y+2)-9(y+2) / 2y^2+4y+3y+6
= (4y^2-9)(y+2) / 2y(y+2)+3(y+2)
= (4y^2-9)(y+2) / (2y+3)(y+2)
= (2y+3)(2y-3)(y+2) / (2y+3)(y+2)
=(2y-3)
