This problem has only multiplication and division
In such problems the co-efficients can always be reduced to a lower fraction.
The indices can be worked by the rules.
=y/3x

Cancel the 6.
Cancel all factors that are in the numerator and the denominator.
PS You solve equations. This is not an equation, there's no equal sign.
You simplify this.
