Question 304591: (4/x)+(3/2x)= (11/4)
Answer by blwinbbbles(106)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4/x + 3/2x = 11/4
use commom denominator
8/2x + 3/2x = 11/4
11/2x = 11/4 multiple both sides by 2x
11 = 22x/4 multiple both sides by 4
44 = 22x divide both sides by 22
2 = x
Sorry this is a little round about but it is the easiest way to show it.
Hope it helps
