Question 303204: What is an equation of a line that passes through the points (5,-5) and (-5,-5).
Answer by blwinbbbles(106) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
When y is the same in both coordinate points it infers thats
the line is a horizontal line..
Since y is always -5, only x changes
Therefore the equation for a horizontal line is
y = b and in this case b is -5 (that is where the line crosses the y axis)
so for this particular line the equation is:
y = -5
