Question 302537: hello
can you help me with this problem I strted this problem but im not so sure.
if an object is thrown upward with an initial velocity of 96ft/sec , its height after t sec is given by h=96t-16t^2. Find the number of seconds before the object hits the ground. **Use the 5 step problem solving process**
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It hits when h = 0
0 = 96t - 16t^2
t = 0 (at launch)
t = 6 seconds (at impact)
