Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2y2 = 18y - 40
2y^2 -18y + 40=0
factor out 2
2*(y^2-9y+20)=0
factors of twenty that add up to-9
-4 -5
2*(y-4)*(y-5)=0
