2n/n -1 + n - 5/n^2 - 1 = 1
2 - 1 + n -5/n^2 - 1 = 1
1 + n - 5/n^2 - 1 = 1
n - 5/n^2 = 1
Multiply both sides by n^2:
n^3 - 5 = n^2
n^3 - n^2 - 5 = 0
This is not simple to solve. Are you sure the orginal problem is correctly stated? Paranetheses are critical here. :)
