Question 289846: Use synthetic division and the remainder theorem to evaluate, find the exact value- no decimals
f(-1/3) for f(x)= -6x^3+5x^2-4x+2

f(-1/3)=37/9
Am I missing something ? Why do I need synthetic division for f(-1/3) or the remainder theorem for f(-1/3)?
