Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the base be x
The height will be x+1
Area of triangle = 1/2 * base * height
=1/2 *x *(x+1)
1/2 x^2 +1/2*x = 15
x^2+x=30
x^+x-30=0
x^2 +6x-5x-30
x(x+6)-5(x+6)=0
(x+6)(x-5)=0
x=-6 or 5
It cabt be negative so x= 5 which is the base of the tooth
height will be 5+1=6 cms.
