You either have to factor x^2+3x-18 into (x-3) and something else or you have to divide x^2+3x-18 by (x-3)
Since we have -18 (-3*6=-18) I would guess (x+6) is the other factor.
Use foil to multiply (x-3)*(x+6) to verify.
