Question 283765: solve: x+4/x+2-3/x=-(6/x^2+2x)
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x+4/x+2-3/x=-(6/x^2+2x)
x(x+4) -3(x+2) / x(x+2) = 6 / x(x+2)
(x^2+4x-3x-6) / x(x+2) = 6/ x(x+2)
(x^2+x-6)/x(x+2)=6/x(x+2)
x(x+2)(x^2+x-6)/x(x+2)= 6
x(x+2) cancel off
(x^2+x-6)=6
x^2-x-6-6=0
x^2-x-12=0
x^2-4x+3x-12=0
x(x-4)+1(x-4)=0
(x-4)(x+1)=0
