Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x/5+x/3=1
3x+5x=15
8x=15
x=15/8
x=1 7/8 hours
x/5=15/8/5=3/8 of the job
x/3=15/8/3=5/8 of the job
Sue does 3/8 and Kim does 5/8 of the job
