C. (12x+2)(x+3)
D. (12x+1)(x+6)
I factored all of these out and I get a little hung up..I beleive that C is the answer..but I can never figure out how you get the 17 in the middle?
Thank you for your help!
Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the answer is A
the brackets tell you: every term in the first bracket is multiplied to every term in te second bracket:
if we had (a+b)(c+d) then we have four terms:
ac
ad
and
bc
bd
Do this process with A and you see that you get the quadratic in the question..with the 17x.
