well, (-4ab)(-3c) means (-4)*(a)*(b)*(-3)*(c). I have just used brackets so you can see the terms all seperated.

Now, in algebra, like numbers, the order doesn't matter when you have like operations, eg 2*3*4 is 24. Either 2*3 is 6 then 6*4 is 24. Or, 2*4 is 8 then 8*3 is 24 or some other combo.

So, in (-4)*(a)*(b)*(-3)*(c), it doesn't matter what the order is. So look to see what can multiply... well (-4)*(-3) is +12, so we get (12)*(a)*(b)*(c). As for a and b and c? they are all different things. They do NOT multiply, so the answer is (12)*(a)*(b)*(c), or written more neatly, it is 12abc.
