Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Identify all multiple zeros.
f(s) = 4s^4 - 17s^2 + 4
Factor:
(4s^2-1)(s^2-4) = 0
---
s^2 = 1/4 or s^2 = 4
----
s = +-(1/2) or s = +-2
