Simplify 10^5+8
10^3+10^2+3*10+6
I want to say its 180,536?
How do I know where each number is placed? Thank you very much!
Jamie
10^5+8*10^3+10^2+3*10+6
=(10^5)+8X(10^3)+(10^2)+(3X10)+6
=1,00,000 + 8,000 + 100 +30 +6
=1,08,136
Note:
1,00,000 +
8,000 +
100 +
30 +
6
=1,08,136
Answer: 1,08,136
Note: In the problem it is 8X(10^3) where as you have considered 8X(10^4)
Another mistake is you have considedred 5X(10^2) and in the problem it is only (10^2) which means 1X(10^2)
