What is the constant in the product of (3t-2)(t-4)?
Uisng FOIL:
(3t-2)*(t-4) = 3t*t + 3t*-4 + -2*t + (-2)*(-4) =
3t^2 -12t - 2t + 8 =
3t^2 -14t + 8
The constant is 8.
