Please help me solve this equation: {{ b+2/(b+3)+1 = -7/ b-5 }}
(b+2/ b+3 ) + 1 = -7/ (b-5)
b+2 +b+3 / ( b+3) = -7 / (b-5)
2b+5/(b+3) =-7/(b-5)
(2b+5)(b-5) = -7(b+3)
2b^2-10b+5b-25=-7b-21
2b^2 -10b+5b+7b= 25-21
2b^2+2b-4=0
Divide by 2
b^2+b-2 =0
b^2+2b-b-2=0
b(b+2)-1(b+2)=0
(b-1)(b+2)= 0
b= 1 or -2
