Question 270665: Solve by the addition method
5x-2y= -1
7y= 24 -3x

This is what I have tried:
I rearrange the problem
Ax=By=C
5x-2y=-1 multiply by 3 15x+6y=-3
-3x+7y=24 multiply by 5 -15x+35y=120
= 41y =117
divide both sides by 41
y=117/41
