Question 264702: Multiplying a polynomial by a monomial.
3y(y-3)+5=3(y<2>-2y)-2y
sorry i dont know how to make a exponet on th computer so youll see i but them in <> hope you understand
this is what i did : 3y(y-3)=5=3(y<2>-2y)-2y <-- original problem
3y<2>-3+5=3y<2>-2y-2y <-- distributive property
6y<2>-4y=2 <-- combining like terms
and now i dont know if i combine 6y<2> and -4y
thanks :)
