Hello,
We can rewrite this (2xy+3wxy-8x-12wx) / (4xy^2-64x) like this:
x(2y+3wy-8-12w) / 4x(y^2-16) We can cancel x so it looks like:
(2y+3wy-8-12w) / 4(y^2-16) Now we can regroup and factor to look like this:
2(y-4)+3w(y-4) / 4(y-4)(y+4) The numerator can be rewritten as:
(2+3w)(y-4)/4(y-4)(y+4) Now we can cancel out the (y-4) in the top and bottom so:
(2+3w)/4(y+4)
There we go. Good problem.
