Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x^3+3x^2–x–3)÷(x–1)
[x^2(x+3)-(x+3)]/(x-1)
(x^2-1)(x+3)/(x-1)
(x-1)(x+1)(x+3)/(x-1) cancel out the (x-1) terms.
(x+1)(x+3)
