6x^4-39x^2+60
-------------------
2x^4 - 13x^2 + 20
---
2x^4 - 8x^2 - 5x^2 + 20
---
2x^2(x^2 - 4) - 5(x^2- 4)
---
(x^2-4)(2x^2-5)
---
(x-2)(x+2)(2x^2-5)

6x^4-39x^2+60
(3x^2-12)(2x^2-5)
3(x^2-4)(2x^2-5)
2(x+2)(x-2)(2x^2-5) ans.

I assume you want to factor the following:
(i)
Replace x^2 with a dummy variable like U. So U = x^2 and U^2 = x^4. We get
(ii)
Now this looks more familiar. Factor this to get
(iii)
Remember to put back x^2 where you had U. We get
(iv)
we can factor even further to get
(v)
