Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It is difficult to understand what you are writing.
Math is a language and has grammar and syntax, rules and vocabulary.
They can't just be ignored and you can't just make up your own math language and expect someone else to understand it.
6x^3+6x^2-2x-2
3x^2-1
The factors are
2(x+1)(3 x^2-1)
or
(2x+2) and (3x^2-1)
You called the expression 6x^3+6x^2-2x-2 a factor and you don't use the proper form for square.
