first you want to remove parentheses.

you get:

4x^6 - 3x^4 - 4x^2 - 2x + 7 - x^3 - 3x^2 - 6x

then you want to reorder the terms in descending order.

you get:

4x^4 - 3x^4 - x^3 - 4x^2 - 3x^2 - 2x - 6x + 7

then you combine like terms.

-4x^2 - 3x^2 = -7x^2

-2x - 6x = -8x

you get:

4x^4 - 3x^4 - x^3 - 7x^2 - 8x + 7

that's your answer.
