Question 238554: Please help. I am so confused
Multiply
(8x+1)(4x^2+4x+4)
Divide
(30b^3+8b^2+34b+31)/(5b+3)
Thanks!

Answer by JimboP1977(311)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(8x+1)*4x^2 = 32x^3+4x^2 (1)
(8x+1)*4x = 32x^2+4x (2)
(8x+1)*4 = 32x+4 (3)
Add (1),(2), & (3) together gives:
32x^3+36x^2+36x+4
Algebraic division is not my strong point so maybe another tutor can step in from here?
