you have left a bit of uncertainty in your question, so i shall answer what i think you meant...note my use of brackets to lump things together:

Hopefully, you meant that? The answer is rather inelegant, so how about

Second example looks far better, from a teaching example, but your written question is misleading because you missed out brackets, which collect terms together and tell me what to do.
