Can you prove the statement " A^0 = 1 (as long as A is not equal to zero)" using the law of exponent?

A/A = 1 as long as A is not zero
--------
A^1/A^1 = A^(1-1) = A^0
--------------------------
Therefore A^0 = 1 as long as A is not zero.
