You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x%283x%2B2%29=%28x%2B2%29%5E2
3x%5E2+%2B+2x+=+x%5E2+%2B+4x+%2B+4

Set equation equal to zero by adding -x%5E2-4x+-4 to each side:
2x%5E2-2x+-4+=+0

Factor the common factor of 2:
2%28x%5E2+-+x+-+2%29=0

Factor the trinomial:
2%28x-2%29%28x%2B1%29+=+0

Set each factor equal to zero. The 2 from the common factor does not give any solutions.
x-2=0, so x=2

x+1=0, so x=-1
